Join me for a gentle yoga class to build strength and flexibility. We will be linking breath with movement to cultivate a mindful practice, leaving you feeling more balanced and grounded after each session.
Class usually begins with a short relaxation to quieten the mind to prepare for the practice. This is followed by gentle warm up of the muscles and joints before the energising sequence of sun salutations. Students will then be guided through a series of standing and seated poses, followed by relaxation. Modifications will be provided to ensure the class is accessible to all.
In the beginners class, we will take it a bit slower and take time to explore basic yoga poses and build healthy alignment. Some basic breathing exercises will also be introduced.
